How do I measure my foot?
INSTRUCTIONS
- Measure at the End of the Day: Feet tend to swell throughout the day. Measure them in the evening for the most accurate size.
- Wear the Right Socks: Put on the same pair of socks you plan to wear with the shoes.
- Prepare Your Paper: Tape a piece of paper to a hard floor, making sure it doesn’t slip.
- Position Your Foot: Stand with one foot on the paper and a slight bend in your knees, or sit in a chair with your feet firmly planted on the ground.
- Trace Your Foot: With a pen or pencil pointed straight down, trace the outline of your foot on the paper. For the most accurate tracing, ask someone to help you.
- Repeat for the Other Foot: Repeat the process with the other foot, as feet can be slightly different sizes.
- Mark Key Points: Mark the tip of your big toe and the outermost part of your heel on the tracing.
- Measure the Length: Use a ruler or measuring tape to measure the distance between the two points. This measurement represents the length of your foot. For precision, use a ruler with centimeters.
